There will never be a paywall to see your best matches. We return only the best matches and leave further refinement to you.

When will CV Heap launch?

CV Heap is under active development. We are taking the time to do this right. Sign up to be notified when we launch.

Are résumés eliminated?

No, not at all! We use your entire history to perform in-depth matching. Hiring Managers still need to know why You are the best fit for Their role.

How is CV Heap different from LinkedIn or Indeed?

CV Heap is not a social media platform. We do not benefit from keeping you unemployed or guessing how to game the system. We only exist to provide top-quality matches using your complete career history.

What is the “score card”?

A very large score card sits at the heart of our operation. This allows us to match your CV data against every job in our database using thousands of data points. It captures everything from technical skills to work preferences.

Privacy & Security

How do you protect my data?

We will NEVER sell your data. Your data is processed through a secure, non-web pipeline. The only data that might be made public is aggregate score card data in blog posts.

Why does CV Heap use Git?

Using external Git services (GitHub/GitLab) allows us to keep the data in your control. It helps ensure your CV data cannot be leaked through web vulnerabilities. A non-web process fetches the update and generates a numbers-only score card.

What is “Mutual Interest”?

When both job seeker and employer “Show Interest” in one another, both are able to see this mutual interest. This helps prevent one-sided leverage during the hiring process.

What are “Friendly Departures”?

Anyone who provides a thorough summary of the job they are vacating will be rewarded with credit for a free month of premium, to be used within 10 years. This helps build better job descriptions for future candidates.

Will there be promoted or ghost jobs?

No. There will never be promoted jobs, ghost jobs, or hidden jobs on CV Heap. We return only the best matches.
